Kate Hudson just put one of Carrie Bradshaw’s quirky styling tricks to the test. On Wednesday, she attended a Max Mara cocktail party in Los Angeles, where she wore a belt around her bare waist.
Consisting of a textured halter neck crop top and a matching mid-rise maxiskirt, Hudson added on a pair of open-toe stilettos and some diamond drop earrings. Wearing her blonde hair in a sleek middle part, her glam consisted of coral blush and a pinky nude lip.

In October, Hudson and Danny Fujikawa walked the red carpet together for the first time in months. The couple attended the AFI Fest premiere of Hudson’s new film, Song Sung Blue.
Assisted by stylist Sophie Lopez, Hudson’s dress came straight from Roksanda’s spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection, which debuted on the runway during London Fashion Week last month. Her backless burnt orange frock featured elegant draped details and ruching on the sides.
Hudson carried a gold clutch, completing her look with a few statement rings and gold starburst earrings.
Celebrity hairdresser Marcus Francis styled Hudson’s tresses in sculpted waves with a deep side part. Her makeup, meanwhile, included rosy blush and a bold red lip.
Fujikawa opted for a pinstriped suit, which he paired with a T-shirt and sneakers.

Hudson and her fiancé were last spotted together in April, when they attended the Breakthrough Prize ceremony, also in L.A.
Fujikawa and Hudson have been together since 2017, welcoming their daughter Rani Rose the following year.
This summer, Hudson enjoyed a vacation in Greece with her three children and her husband-to-be. In July, the Almost Famous star shared snaps from her blended family’s trip on Instagram.
“Family summer 🇬🇷 We love you Greece,” Hudson captioned her carousel.
