Chad Michael Murray’s Daughter Makes TV Debut During Rare Appearance

Chad Michael Murray appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday October 5, 2025 and brought a surprise guest with him: his 8-year-old daughter, Audrey. Murray, who has kept his family and children mostly out of the public eye, brought out his eldest daughter after host Barrymore asked if she would be down to introduce herself.

“You know what, she’s ready,” One Tree Hill star responded. “My sweet little daughter, no one ever really gets to meet her, but she’s ready.”

The celeb’s daughter walked onto the stage of the talk show and was immediately greeted with cheers and gasps from Barrymore and the audience. Audrey gave her dad a quick hug before embracing Barrymore and sharing her name.

The 50 First Dates actress asked Audrey what her favorite food was and she replied “Mac and Cheese,” earning an excited look from the talk show host. “Where have you been all my life?” she asked Audrey, bringing her in for another hug. “That’s my favorite food!”

At one point, Barrymore asked her if Audrey had seen the popular movie, KPop Demon Hunters, to which Audrey joked that she “lost interest on her 300th time.”

Murray shared that his family now has the soundtrack from the animation on repeat. “We have Alexa on replay all the time. Her and her little sister are constantly doing KPop Demon Hunters to a tee. She knows them all,” he said, before asking anyone in the audience if they had seen the Netflix film and encouraging those who hadn’t to go watch it.

When some audience members showed that they hadn’t watched it, Audrey quipped, “Watch it or I’ll haunt your nightmares.”

Murray shares his daughter, Audrey with his longtime wife, Sarah Roemer. The pair have been married since 2015, and share three children together: a son born in 2015, Audrey, and their youngest daughter born in 2023. Murray and Roemer have never publicly disclosed their names.

In July, Murray and Roemer brought their older kid’s to the Freakier Friday premiere making it their very first red carpet-debut. The film is a sequel to the original, Freaky Friday, which aired on Disney Channel in the early 2000s and starred Murray, Lindsay Lohan, and Jamie Lee Curtis.

Murray wore a light pink suit to the event while his lookalike son looked dapper in a light blue suit. Roemer and Audrey stunned in coordinating floor-length mint green dresses.
