The Halloween season might’ve ended on the calendar, but that hasn’t stopped Netflix subscribers from indulging in some gothic, and often violently graphic, horror this past week. At the time of writing, no movie is more popular on the platform in the U.S. than Guillermo del Toro‘s Frankenstein, the latest adaptation of Mary Shelley’s groundbreaking original text that has been a passion project of the director’s for many years. Although the odd Christmas movie has crept onto the streaming charts as the festive season is ushered in, Frankenstein has kept Halloween fever alive and well at the top. This weekend, a plethora of new arrivals will grace Netflix’s catalog, offering hours of entertainment. With that in mind, here’s a look at three movies you should give a try on Netflix this weekend.
