Texas volleyball  rose a smidge in Monday’s American Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.

The Longhorns (12-7, 8-3 SEC) recorded their third straight sweep Sunday when rival Texas A&M came to Austin. Texas won in straight sets and showed off its depth with five players hitting above .300.

Other shockers throughout the SEC featured Texas’ next opponent Missouri. The Tigers beat then-No. 6 Tennessee in five sets to pull the upset. The Volunteers also lost in four sets to the Aggies, so they dropped to No. 10.
