After their 20-game win streak came to an end earlier in the day, the No. 16 Washington Huskies bounced back with a 6-3 win over the No. 24 Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto, California, on Thursday evening.

In a back-and-forth game, coach Heather Tarr’s offense was powered by catcher Jadyn Glab, who went 2-for-4 on the day with 3 runs batted in, two of which came on her eighth home run of the season to give the Huskies some breathing room in the fifth inning.

It was easy for Glab to get all the glory with third baseman Giselle Alvarez in front of her, as the junior went 2-for-3 with a walk on the day. She came across to score all three times she was on base, while standout freshman Ally Hetzel also continued her hot streak, going 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the third inning.
