The 2027 NFL Draft will take place in Washington, D.C. next year. In that draft, the Vikings still have their first-round pick, but a lot could happen in the next 7 months. Before then, though, there will be plenty of speculation and buildup about the team, and who they may add through the draft in a class many are calling one of generational wealth.

While we will always look at mock drafts from analysts around the space, we will also keep up with our Mock Draft Mondays here on Vikings Wire.

College football season is officially underway, but now so is the NFL season. The Vikings showed a lot in Week 4 when they secured an ugly win, so there’s a lot to consider when making picks. With that in mind, let’s dive into a 3-round 2027 NFL Mock Draft for the Vikings.

Round 1: Zabien Browns, CB, Alabama

The Vikings have some decent players in their secondary at the cornerback position. Zabien Brown coming in would allow them to have some youth in the room and a new project for Brian Flores. This team having a later pick in the first round does help them in many spots they could use the help, so taking the best player available approach with Brown may be the play for them.

Round 2: Kingston Lopa, S, California

Kingston Lopa is one of the biggest risers in the draft community this year. His best trait is his instincts for the ball as he has five interceptions and two pass breakups. He has some flaws, but the ball skills and instincts are there, and giving him to Brian Flores could be diabolical. He is listed at 6-5 and 210 pounds and could be a fun safety option for the Vikings in 2027.

Round 3: Iapani Laloulu, C, Oregon

Laloulu could be a starter for the Vikings the day he is drafted. Blake Brandel is very serviceable, but I have higher hopes for Laloulu than the veteran at this point. And if they choose to stick with Brandel, they need some depth at the position.

Round 3: Ben Roberts, LB, Texas Tech

Ben Roberts could be a fun piece for Brian Flores to potentially replace Blake Cashman. The veteran’s contract is up in 2027, but he has shown he can still be a valuable piece in the defense. If they bring him back on a one- or two-year deal, then Roberts would make even more sense.
