The inaugural playing of the PGA Tour’s Austin Championship will not go forward without a significant sponsor after all.

With just two weeks before the tournament gets underway, Golfweek has learned from local sources that Compliance Solutions is expected to be announced as a presenting sponsor of the 2026 FedEx Cup Fall event, scheduled for Nov. 12-15 at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa’s Fazio Canyons Course in Austin, Texas. An official announcement from the PGA Tour is expected soon, potentially as early as Monday.

Austin Championship tournament director Ian Helm talks with Will Zalatoris and Cole Sherwood after announcing the sponsor exemptions for the upcoming event at Barton Creek's Fazio Canyons Course.

The tournament was originally launched as the Good Good Championship, but Good Good stepped away from the title sponsorship following backlash over a promotional video produced in conjunction with then-partner Callaway. The advertisement, which promoted a new Callaway driver, drew criticism for depicting a man shoving a woman to the ground.
