Atlanta Dream wing Howard entered the night tied with Sabrina Ionescu at 128 triples but missed her first eight attempts from beyond the arc, finally connecting with 6:45 left to give her sole possession of the record.

The fifth-year, four-time All-Star is just four days removed from winning a gold medal with Team USA at the FIBA World Championship. She not only leads the league in 3-pointers but is also first in steals at 2.4 per game.
