Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. kept alive what has been nothing short of a scintillating start to his World Cup campaign in the early hours of Friday.

This came courtesy of another standout performance in Brazil’s group stage meeting with Scotland.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops rounded out their group stage endeavours earlier today, ultimately emerging on the right side of a 3-0 result to take top spot.

The aforementioned Vinícius featured from the off in the matchup, and proved himself the star of the show courtesy of a brace, as well as a further disallowed goal.

These efforts ultimately culminated in the 25-year-old being named the Man of the Match for the evening in Miami.

This means that, across a trio of group stage fixtures to date in North America this summer, Vinícius has secured ‘MVP’ honours in all three, now boasting four goals and an assist at the 2026 World Cup.
