Los Angeles Rams legend LeRoy Irvin has died at the age of 68. Eric Dickerson shared the news of Irvin’s passing on Instagram Thursday. The Rams are also mourning the loss of Irvin.
Irvin played 11 years in the NFL from 1980-1990, 10 of those seasons coming with the Rams; he played one year with the Lions in 1990. He was voted a first-team All-Pro punt returner in 1981 before earning Pro Bowl honors as a cornerback in 1985 and 1986. He was also named a second-team All-Pro in 1985 and a first-team selection the year after.

In his 11 seasons, he picked off 35 passes and returned five of them for touchdowns. He also forced 10 fumbles and recovered 13, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Irvin played 159 games and made 120 starts, ranking as one of the best cornerbacks in franchise history.
