Notre Dame football is still a few months away from signing its 2027 class, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have an eye on the future.
The 2028 cycle will be here before we know it, and the Irish coaching staff isn’t waiting around for the calendar to officially turn. While still very early, they are current high school juniors, Notre Dame has already started to get quality prospects to join the program.

Head coach Marcus Freeman has completely turned the program around, and a big reason has been his ability to accumulate talent at all positions. The 2026 team could be the most talented ever, and there will be conversations about the teams after it due to the amount of elite athletes that are heading to South Bend.
