The NFL has suspended Buffalo Bills defensive back Sam Franklin Jr. for one game without pay for spitting at a player during Sunday’s 33-30 win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
According to the NFL, the incident occurred with 1:32 left in the fourth quarter after the Raiders’ extra point attempt.

According to WGR550’s Sal Capaccio, Franklin denies the incident ever happened and is planning to appeal
The suspension, if upheld, will cause Franklin to miss the Bills’ Week 8 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo is on their bye week in Week 7.
He will be eligible to return for the team’s Monday night game against the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 9.
