Luka Doncic won Western Conference Player of the Month award for March

In March, Luka Doncic played some of the best sustained basketball anyone can remember seeing in recent years. During that month, he averaged 37.5 points on 49.2% field-goal shooting and 39.2% from 3-point range, eight rebounds, 7.4 assists and 2.3 steals a game. He hit the 40-point mark seven times in March, and he had his third career 60-point game on March 19 versus the Miami Heat.

Even better, the Lakers went 15-2 that month and are now on the verge of finishing third in the Western Conference. As a result of that sensational play, Doncic was named the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Month for March.
