Jake Paul is officially set to return to boxing, with Most Valuable Promotions confirming the deal has been signed.
Paul hasn’t fought since December 2023, when he controversially stepped into the ring against former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

It ended up being his second professional loss, and since then, there has been little talk of a return — until now.
Jake Paul’s comeback scheduled for Christmas Eve event in Dubai
Paul recently named a 15-fight hitlist, featuring Tom Aspinall, Sean Strickland and Darren Till. At this point, Till looks the most likely candidate for his return opponent. The former UFC welterweight title challenger has shown interest in taking on the 29-year-old.
Till is reportedly waiting on a contract from Paul’s team, even though he still has one fight left on his BKFC deal. This was reinforced by Paul’s manager, Nakisa Bidarian, who confirmed that discussions with Till are ongoing.

This Thursday morning, MVP put out a press release confirming that ‘The Problem Child’ will return to the ring on December 24 in Dubai – marking his first professional fight in the region.
The press release read: “The Christmas Eve showdown will mark Paul’s first professional fight in Dubai, as one of combat sports’ biggest global stars prepares to begin the next chapter of his boxing career. Paul’s opponent and additional event details will be officially revealed over the coming weeks.”
“The highly anticipated return to the emirates is a part of a cooperation agreement between the Dubai Sports Council, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and MVP. Further underlining the city’s reputation as a host destination for world-class sporting events.”
Paul also commented on what fans can expect from him this time around: “I’ve spent years proving people wrong, taking risks, and pushing myself against opponents nobody thought I’d face. Nothing that’s happened has changed my belief in myself or what I’m working toward.”

“I’m hungrier than ever,” he added. “And on Thursday 24th December I’m returning to the ring in Dubai to start the next chapter of my journey.
“We’ve got plenty of names on the list; let’s see who signs the contract. Merry Christmas, Dubai. Santa Paul is coming to town, and somebody’s getting knocked out.”
Till appears to be leading candidate to be Paul’s next opponent but no announcement has been made yet.
