The FSU baseball team has landed another player out of the transfer portal, with former Florida Gulf Coast University right-handed pitcher Sebastian Lippman committing on Saturday morning.

Lippman started his career with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, redshirting in 2025 before transferring to FGCU. He played in 21 games in 2026, posting a 3.38 ERA in 40.0 innings and picking up two saves. He allowed 18 runs (15 earned) on 32 hits and 28 walks, holding opponents to a 2.19 batting average.

He made three starts and has thrown a career-high 4.2 innings twice. Lippman saw limited action at the plate, going 1-16 with a home run, four walks, three runs, and two RBI. The Plainview, New York, product struckout nine times and is likely to focus solely on pitching in Tallahassee.

Lippman is the fifth transfer that FSU has landed this offseason and the second pitcher, joining starter Cayden Suchy. They have also added outfielder Ty Peeples, shortstop Cooper Malamazian, and designated hitter Jackson McKenzie.
