Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Field Hockey Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which field hockey players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The polls will be open from Friday through Thursday. The winners will be announced every Friday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week’s Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Last week’s winner

Raelynn Spellman, Falmouth

Spellman won her first poll of the season with 52.5% of the votes. She was active in goal, stopping 13 of 16 shots in a 7-3 win over Barnstable.

This week’s candidates

Cate Buckler, Barnstable

Buckler scored twice and added an assist in a 3-2 win over Nantucket.

Buckler then had three goals and two assists in a 7-0 victory over New Bedford.

Emery Cappallo, Monomoy

Cappallo had two goals, one on a stroke, and two assists as the Sharks beat Swampscott 10-1.

Lily Majka, Monomoy

Majka had a hat trick in a win over Swampscott.

Aisling Mograss, Barnstable

Mograss had a hat trick and an assist as the Red Hawks defeated New Bedford.

Maggie Reino, Sturgis

Reino recorded two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over Middleborough.

Jenna Richard, Dennis-Yarmouth

Richard tallied a goal and two assists as the Dolphins beat Nantucket 7-0.

Stutzman scored four goals as the Blue Knights beat Nauset 8-0.

Mia Zimmerman, Monomoy

Zimmerman finished with three goals and two assists as the Sharks defeated Swampscott.
