Caitlin Clark had some extra support from her Indiana Fever teammates Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull as she competed in the Annika Pro-Am golf tournament and the WNBA stars, who fans have lovingly nicknamed the “Tres Leches”, were all smiles on the course.
While Clark, 23, competed in the annual tournament in Belleair, Florida on Nov. 12, Cunningham, 29, and Hull, 26, served as her caddies.
During one particularly fun moment shared by the LPGA Tour on Instagram, Clark cracks up at Cunningham’s energetic approach to the sport — which ended in her accidentally hitting a fan with the ball.
The video shows Cunningham taking a swing and shouting “Happy Gilmore,” in a nod to Adam Sandler’s beloved golf movie, but as she’s celebrating hitting the ball, Clark is heard saying, “Man down, man down!”

Clark tells her Fever teammate, “He’s down,” before Cunningham started running over to the fan, who was uninjured and seemingly happy to be meeting the WNBA star.
“It was worth it,” the fan’s wife joked as Cunningham signed autographs and took pictures with them.
Clark reposted the Instagram Reel showing Cunningham’s encounter with the fan on her own Instagram Stories.
Cunningham, meanwhile, joked in the comments of the LPGA’s post, “I don’t belong here.”
According to Golfweek, Cunningham joked, “Happy Gilmore would be really proud of me, so I’m feeling pretty good about my shot to be honest.”
“I feel like the last time I hit a golf ball I killed a squirrel, so I just don’t know if this is my scene,” she added, joking, “but I would like to win that car behind us.”
Clark told Golfweek she thinks both Cunningham and Hull “would both be pretty good if they practiced a little bit at [golf].”
“I think they were fine just drinking their drinks and walking around, so they’ll probably just stick with that,” Clark added.
Hull and Cunningham were by Clark’s side cheering her on throughout the tournament, including when the Fever star sunk a putt.
At one point, Cunningham advised Clark to “hit it hard” as Clark joked that her teammates, wearing custom caddie bibs of their Indiana Fever jerseys, “look like they’re about to play basketball” on the golf course.
“Did you put snacks in here? Maybe a beer?” Cunningham joked about the contents of her bib in a clip on social media.
