Editor’s note: Follow our LIVE Argentina vs Spain World Cup final updates

Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez is a unit.

Martínez is having himself quite the World Cup final against Spain. Ahead of extra time between the two sides, Martínez had a blistering 10 saves. Spain had 15 attempts, and Martínez saved 10 of them as he batted away strikes and fell on top of multiple soccer balls, stifling advances.

He added another save, his 11th, just three minutes into extra time. Martínez’s 11 saves are the most in a World Cup final. The record for any other tournament game (16) belongs to Tim Howard. Amazingly, Martínez is doing all of this with a broken finger on his right hand.
