Benji Madden just gave the cutest update on his and wife Cameron Diaz’s 5-year-old daughter, Raddix—apparently, she is taking after her musician dad.
“I have a daughter and she’s just getting [into] playing her stuff and whatever,” said Madden, who is the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist of band Good Charlotte, during an appearance on Track Star on TikTok. “Loves Paramore,” he added.

The host asked if she’s a fan of Taylor Swift, to which Madden replied without hesitation. “Yes.” However, he added, the family didn’t make it to the Eras Tour because “she was a little young” at the time.

Madden and Diaz first met in May 2014 and were engaged by December and they married in January.
“Nothing matters now that I have my husband,” she said to Sirius XM Radio later that year. “Like that’s the thing, that’s how I know he’s my husband because no one compares. You realize like, ‘Oh right, this is what the real thing is, this is what real love is and this is what commitment and devotion is.’”
They welcomed Raddix in January 2020 and their son Cardinal followed in 2024.
“They were always hoping for a second baby because they love being parents,” an insider told People, adding, “For years, Cameron wanted to be a mom,” the source continued. “She gets very emotional when she talks about the long journey to motherhood. She feels beyond lucky to now have two children.”
Diaz stepped away from the acting world when her daughter was born. “That was what I was putting most of my focus on,” Diaz said earlier this year. “If I was doing anything other than just sort of being a mom and living my day-to-day.”

However, she has recently returned with a role in the aptly titled Back in Action. And apparently, it was her husband who helped her make the decision. “[Benji Madden said] now we support you, we let you shine and do what you love. It’s your turn,” she told Vogue Mexico.
