New Zealand bounced back in the five-match ODI series with a five-wicket win over West Indies in the second match on Monday. Left-arm spinner Jayden Lennox starred with the ball, taking 5 for 19 as the visitors bowled out West Indies for just 138 before chasing down the target with 104 balls to spare.

The victory was New Zealand’s 400th win in one-day internationals and leveled the series 1-1 after West Indies had won the opener by seven wickets.

West Indies were in a strong position at 63 without loss, but Lennox turned the match around with a brilliant spell. The hosts lost all 10 wickets for just 65 runs to finish on 138.

Playing only his seventh ODI after making his international debut at the age of 31, Lennox claimed his maiden five-wicket haul. His figures of 5 for 19 from eight overs were the third-best by a New Zealand spinner in ODI cricket.
