Roma fans had hoped to see Mile Svilar back in goal for the Champions League match between Manchester United and the Roman club on November 3rd at Old Trafford.

However, the goalkeeper’s tests this morning have led the Trigoria club to make a different decision.

According to Il Tempo, Svilar will return to Roma only after the international break. Therefore, it will take a few more weeks to see the number 99 back on the pitch.

He will miss three fixtures: Saturday’s away game at the Bluenergy Stadium against Udinese, the Champions League trip to Manchester scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd at 9:00 PM, and the home match against Sassuolo, whose former manager Alberto Aquilani is scheduled for November 7th.

Svilar will most likely return to the starting lineup for the match against Parma, scheduled for Saturday, November 21st at 6:00 PM at the Stadio Tardini. Meanwhile, Gian Piero Gasperini will be able to count on Pierluigi Gollini, who performed excellently in his last match against Cagliari.
