Manchester United are reportedly willing to part ways with Benjamin Sesko amid interest from Barcelona and Juventus.
The Premier League giants invested circa £74 million in the Slovenian striker just over a year ago. He was part of the club’s attacking overhaul in 2025, joining Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in Ruben Amorim’s new-look attack.

The 23-year-old struggled to lock down a starting role under the Portuguese manager, but became a key player for Michael Carrick during the second half of the previous campaign, scoring vital goals for the club, whether as a starter or when coming off the bench.

This season, Sesko has been dealing with a shin injury he carried over from last season. The former RB Leipzig star was dropped from the matchday squad against Fulham, and remained at Carrington during he international break.
Experts fear Sesko could be set for another lengthy spell on the sidelines, giving Carrick a massive headache.

While it remains to be seen how this campaign will unfold, Man Utd might be willing to part ways with the Slovenian international.
According to TuttoJuve, the Red Devils are ready to entertain offers of €75 million (or £63 million) for the centre-forward who is wanted at Barcelona and Juventus.
The Blaugrana have recently signed Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal, but they are seeking a prominent long-term successor to Robert Lewandowski.
As for the Serie A giants, they brought in Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade in the summer, but the latter is on a dry loan from Newcastle United and hasn’t fully impressed in his first few appearances.

Therefore, the source expects Juventus officials to closely scout Sesko in the coming months, at least if the latter is fit enough to take the pitch.
Should Man Utd consider selling Sesko

After a promising first season at Old Trafford, Sesko did enough to suggest he can be the club’s main No.9 for the next 10 years, even if he’s still far from a finished article.
This season, the Slovenian tried to grit his teeth and be available as early as the opening matchday after missing the entire pre-season, but his premature return may have backfired.
In any case, Sesko shouldn’t be judged based on his early-season performances, as he wasn’t playing at full strength.

The Number 30’s departure would leave a massive hole in United’s frontline, as the squad lacks another genuine target man.
Hence, if Man Utd decide to sell Sesko, they would have to bring in not one but two strikers in 2027, and the outcome remains far from guaranteed, especially if INEOS remain hesitant in their spending.
