After a quick trip at home, Texas volleyball is back on the road again for a clash of top-10 teams.
Last week, No. 9 Texas (3-2) shined in its home opener with a sweep against USC. Now, the Longhorns are taking a trip to Nashville, Tenn. for Broadway Block Party where they will play No. 6 Louisville.

The Cardinals (4-1) feature several talented players, including first-team all-conference outside hitter Chloe Chicoine, outside hitter Chloe Meester and last year’s freshman of the year, opposite Kalyssa Blackshear who all combined for 171 kills so far this season. The Cardinals have high expectations after falling to eventual national champion Texas A&M last season in the Sweet 16.

While senior outside hitter Torrey Stafford leads the Longhorns in kills (62), sophomore outside hitter Cari Spears is hot on her trail with 60. The Longhorns are still working through the kinks of its new 5-1 offense with setter Rella Binney running the show.
