The Los Angeles Dodgers destroyed the San Diego Padres 15-3 on Saturday in a game where the offense really woke up and delivered a big game.
The Dodgers totaled 17 hits, but their approach gave them another five base runners, for a total of 22 on the night.

They got help from all different parts — six players had a multi-hit game, while Mookie Betts, Kyle Tucker, and Dalton Rushing all hit home runs.
San Diego, meanwhile, was shut down to two runs in six innings, with Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivering a quality start.

Who were the standout players for the Dodgers?
Without a doubt, Freddie Freeman and Kyle Tucker were the best players today. They punished a right-handed starter after he came into the game following the opener’s departure.

Tucker’s performance was especially notable since he was slumping, but he put together a good game that hopefully can lead to more from him.
Freeman has been steady all year long and continued his trend of punishing righties and any mistakes made by a pitcher.

When do the Dodgers play next?
The next game for the Dodgers comes on Sunday at 1:10 PM, when they will deploy Emmet Sheehan on the mound, while the Padres will bring out Michael King, their ace, who did great work last time he faced the Dodgers.
The Dodgers did not use many of their key relievers, giving them access to Will Klein and Tanner Scott on Friday to get the job done.
The series is even at 1-1, and the Dodgers have the chance to win it. The next two series between these two teams will be at home for LA.
