John Wall: “I feel like it is that time. I love him and Jayson Tatum together, they won a championship. You always get these conversations when you have two guys that think they are 1A. It is always difficult and when you let the media get involved or the outside noise get involved, it can mess up a team. I think when he won Finals MVP, it kind of shook a lot of people up. I think his comments from this year when he came out and was like, ‘This is my favorite year of all.’ Why would you say that? Your best year, I get it, you had career numbers, you had the number one option, but your best career got to be winning Finals MVP and winning a championship in a season. That should have been your best year. So I think from that point forward at the end of the season, when he made that comment about this is my best year, that is when they realized we got to move on for JB. JB wants his own team, JB needs his own team.”
