Nationwide No. 2 Ontario Christian (31-1), led by top-ranked junior Kaleena Smith and top-ranked sophomore Tati Griffin, is the favorite to repeat as Southern Section girls basketball champion. But No. 5 Sierra Canyon (29-2), headlined by 5-star senior and South Carolina commit Jerzy Robinson, is too good to count out – which Ontario Christian would be the first to tell you after narrowly surviving two upset bids from the Trailblazers a postseason ago.
