Looks like Mexico is about to get that much hotter once again, because the show must go on…
Summer 2017 is on and POPPIN’ once again as Warner Brothers has officially released a statement revealing that after deliberate investigation into the alleged sexual assault allegations from two producers on the ABC reality spinoff Bachelor in Paradise, NO assault was found, and season four will resume.
TMZ was first to report the news that the show was put on hold indefinitely after a producer filed for misconduct on set, claiming that Corinne Olympios was too drunk to consent to oral sex in a swimming pool with Demario Jackson. However, multiple people who saw the video, including contestants who witnessed the events, claimed that Corinne was “fully engaged” and lucid throughout the encounter.
The investigation is now complete, according to the statement released by Warner Brothers that read QUOTE, “As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We take all such allegations seriously. The safety, security and well-being of the cast and crew is our number one concern, and we suspended filming so that the allegations could be investigated immediately and thoroughly. Our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed. Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident. We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy.”
The statement also claimed that Warner Bros. plans to implement certain changes to the show’s policies and procedures to further ensure the safety and security of all participants. As for the participants involved in the allegations, TMZ was also notified that DeMario’s lawyer met with Warner Bros. lawyers, reviewed the tapes, and assured him that he was in the clear.
There is no word on the fate of Corinne following her statement claiming that she is ‘a victim’ after having little memory of that night, but the show is set to resume back in Mexico, and will be aired as planned this summer. Whether or not Corinne and DeMario will return back to the show is still undecided, but hey, we can all get excited once more for the return of our fave alumns on their quest to find love yet again!
